Nosal - widok na stok NOWOŚĆ
🇵🇱 Lesser Poland · Poland — Altitude 915 m
This live camera looks at a ski slope at Nosal, a village in the Lesser Poland region close to Zakopane in the Tatra foothills. It is useful for checking whether snow is on the piste and how conditions look before you travel. The page adds the local time and weather so you can judge the view in context.
Nosal lies at about 915 metres above sea level in the southern part of Poland, on the edge of the Podhale plateau. Zakopane, the main winter resort of the Tatras, is only a short drive away, and the area is known for its wooden architecture, mountain pastures and hiking. The landscape is shaped by forested ridges and open meadows that change colour sharply from season to season.
The camera is aimed at a ski slope, so the main subjects are the pistes, the snow cover and the skiers when the lifts are running. In winter the view is most useful in the morning, when fresh snow is easiest to see, and in the afternoon, when the light is best for judging the slope. Fog and low cloud often settle on the hillsides, so the picture may change quickly depending on the weather.
Winter from December to March is the main season for skiing here, while summer brings walking and cycling in the surrounding hills. Expect cold, snowy conditions in winter and mild, showery weather in summer, and pack layers for the altitude. Nearby on VizCams you can also find the Wielka Krokiew ski jump, the Kuźnice cable car to Kasprowy Wierch and a Zakopane slope camera, which are useful for comparing conditions across the area.
