Incline Village - Mt Rose Ski Tahoe Summit Webcam
πΊπΈ Nevada Β· United States β Altitude 2957 m
This camera sits at the summit of Mt Rose, a ski area in the mountains above Incline Village on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It lets you check snow, cloud and visibility at the top before you commit to a drive or a lift ticket.
Mt Rose rises to nearly 3,000 metres on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada, looking down toward Lake Tahoe and the Nevada basin. The area is known for its steep chutes, open bowls and long views across the lake. Weather at this height can change quickly, so the summit often looks very different from the valley below.
The summit camera is most useful in the morning, when fresh snowfall shows clearly and lift lines are still short. Afternoon clouds often build over the peaks in winter and spring, so a clear view at noon is a good sign. Watch for wind-blown snow, flat light and whiteout conditions, which are common on exposed ridges. Dawn and dusk can give the mountains a warm colour when the sky is open.
Incline Village is a short drive from the resort, which is best reached by car in winter, so check road conditions and carry chains. Snow is typically heaviest from December to March. Spring brings softer snow and longer days, while summer is quiet on the slopes. Nearby cameras at the Slide Bowl, Winters Creek Lodge, Mountain 1 and the Main Lodge help you see conditions at different elevations.

The live weather block on this page shows current conditions at the summit, along with a three-day forecast. Because the summit is much higher than the lake, these readings can differ noticeably from Incline Village.
The local time shown on this page follows the Pacific time zone used in Nevada. It updates alongside the live view so you can judge daylight and lift hours.
The camera is at the summit of Mt Rose, about 2,957 metres above sea level, in the mountains above Incline Village on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The map on this page marks its position.
Mornings after a storm are often the most rewarding, as fresh snow and clear air make the summit easy to read. In winter, check the view before you travel, because cloud and wind can close the top quickly.
