About Pontresina and Diavolezza
Pontresina is a village in the Bernina valley of the canton of Graubünden, known as a base for alpine walking, ski touring and glacier excursions. Diavolezza rises above it to a station that opens onto the Bernina range and the Morteratsch glacier. The landscape is rocky, open and very clear, with the Engadine valley floor far below. The area is one of the best-known high-mountain destinations in eastern Switzerland.
