This live stream looks out over Paguera, a resort on the southwest coast of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. It is a quick way to check how the seafront looks right now before you plan a walk, a swim or a drive along the coast.
Paguera sits in the municipality of Calvia, a short drive west of Palma. The town grew around a small bay with a sandy beach and a promenade lined with cafes, hotels and apartment blocks. Behind it the land rises into pine-covered hills, and the Mediterranean water here is typically clear. Nearby coves and rocky headlands give the coast a varied character within a few kilometres.
The view is of a beach setting, so the picture changes with the sea state, the wind and the number of people on the sand. Mornings are usually calmer and less crowded, while late afternoon light is often the most pleasant for judging conditions. Weather during the summer months can change quickly, so checking the live view before heading down is a sensible habit.
The Balearic climate is mild, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, and the sea is warmest from late July to September. Spring and autumn are popular for walking and quieter visits. Calvia's other coastal cameras, including El Toro and the underwater view at Illa del Toro, are close by. Palma is about 16 km away if you want a city day.
