This live camera looks over the town of Florina, the regional centre of West Macedonia in northern Greece. It is useful for checking how the town looks right now and what the sky is doing before you travel. The page also shows local time and the forecast for the coming days.
Florina sits on a high plain at about 690 metres above sea level, close to the borders with North Macedonia and Albania. The town is known as a market and service centre for the surrounding farmland and mountains, and its architecture reflects a mix of Ottoman-era and later neoclassical buildings. Nearby lies the Prespa lake basin, one of the most distinctive landscapes in the Balkans.
Because of the elevation, the view often changes quickly with the weather, so the stream is worth checking at different times of day. Clear mornings tend to give the sharpest light, while late afternoon can bring haze or cloud building over the hills. In winter the surrounding slopes can be snow-covered, and fog is common in the valleys on cold, still days. Depending on the angle, you may see rooftops, streets or open land.
Florina has a continental climate, with cold winters that often bring snow and hot, dry summers. Spring and early autumn are generally the most comfortable seasons for visiting. The town is reachable by road from Thessaloniki, and the nearby Prespa area and the Polyppotamos-area cameras listed on this page give a sense of the wider region.

The current conditions and a three-day forecast are shown in the weather block on this page. Florina's altitude means temperatures can be noticeably lower than in coastal Greece.
The local time is displayed on this page and follows Greek time. Greece uses Eastern European Time, with daylight saving in summer.
The camera is in the Florina municipal unit in West Macedonia, near the town centre at roughly 690 metres above sea level. The map on this page shows its position.
Clear daytime hours give the most detail, and winter mornings can show snow on the surrounding hills. Check the weather block first, since fog or cloud can limit the view.
