This live stream from Fort Pierce, on Florida's Atlantic Treasure Coast, lets you check conditions in the city without leaving your browser. Watch the view as it updates, then use the weather and local time panels to plan your day or see what the coast looks like before a trip.
Fort Pierce is the county seat of St. Lucie County, sitting on the Indian River Lagoon a short distance inland from the Atlantic. The city is known for its working harbor, its fishing tradition and its laid-back waterfront, which sets it apart from the busier resort towns further south. Much of the surrounding land is flat, with palms, mangroves and wide skies typical of the Florida east coast.
Because the camera is listed under general views, the exact scene is best judged by watching it live. Depending on the angle, you may see water traffic on the lagoon, sky and cloud development, and changing light through the day. Early morning and late afternoon usually give the softest light, while afternoon storms in summer can build quickly over the coast and are worth watching for.
Fort Pierce has a humid subtropical climate with hot, wet summers and mild, drier winters, which makes winter and early spring the most comfortable months to visit. Hurricane season runs from June to November, so check conditions before travelling in late summer and autumn. Nearby cameras in Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie, Jupiter and Melbourne let you compare conditions along the coast.
