About Wildhaus
Wildhaus lies in the Toggenburg valley in the Canton of St. Gallen, surrounded by high alpine pastures and forested slopes. It is best known as the birthplace of the Protestant reformer Huldrych Zwingli and as a base for hiking and winter sports in the eastern Alps. The village keeps much of its traditional Alpine character, with wooden chalets and church spires framed by the surrounding peaks.
