About Chulilla and its setting
Chulilla is a small village in the Hoya de Buñol and Serranía region of inland Valencia, set in a dry, mountainous landscape of limestone cliffs, pine woods and terraced fields. The Turia river gorge runs nearby and the village is known as a base for rock climbing and hiking. Its streets are narrow and its old centre is built on the slopes below a castle ruin.
