Artà - Colònia de Sant Pere
🇪🇸 Balearic Islands · Spain — Altitude 12 m
This live stream looks out over Colònia de Sant Pere, a small coastal settlement in the municipality of Artà on the northeast of Mallorca. It is a practical way to check how the sea and sky look before you head out, without relying on a forecast alone.
Colònia de Sant Pere sits on the northeastern coast of Mallorca, close to the inland town of Artà, which is known for its old quarter climbing toward a hilltop sanctuary. The coast here is a mix of small bays, rocky points and sandy stretches typical of the island's east side. The village grew from a fishing community and still keeps a relaxed, low-rise character that many visitors come to the Balearic Islands to find.
The camera is most useful in the morning, when the water is usually calmest and the light is clear, and again in the late afternoon when the sun lowers over the bay. Depending on the view, you may see boats moving in and out, swimmers near the shore, or changes in wave height as the wind shifts. Watching on a clear day gives the best sense of colour in the water, while overcast days show how quickly conditions can change.
Mallorca has mild winters and warm, dry summers, and the sea is generally swimmable from late spring into October. Artà is the nearest larger place for shops and services, and the coast can be reached by road in a short drive. Nearby cameras on this site cover Betlem, the Puig de sa Tudossa, the town centre of Artà, and the beach and dunes at Cala Mesquida.
