About the Tremiti Islands

The Tremiti are a small archipelago in the Adriatic Sea, north of the Gargano peninsula and part of the province of Foggia in Apulia. San Domino, San Nicola and Capraia are the best known islands, reached by ferry from the mainland port of Termoli and from Vieste. The islands are known for clear water, limestone cliffs and a historic monastery on San Nicola. Their character is shaped by the sea more than by roads or traffic.
