Monte Piselli - Arrivée du télésiège, sommet des pistes
🇮🇹 Abruzzo · Italy — Altitude 1650 m
This live stream looks at the arrival station of the chairlift at the summit of the Monte Piselli ski area in Abruzzo, central Italy. It is a useful place to check snow and conditions before heading up to the slopes. The page also shows local weather and the time so you can plan the day.
Monte Piselli is a small ski area in the Abruzzo region of central Italy, sitting at roughly 1,650 metres above sea level. The Apennine mountains here are quieter than the Alps, with rounded ridges, beech and oak woods on the lower slopes and wide views across the valleys when the air is clear. The area is known mainly as a local winter destination for families and day skiers from nearby towns.
The camera is aimed at the top of the piste network, where the chairlift arrives. From the title alone we cannot say exactly what is in frame on any given day. Depending on the view, you may see skiers and riders leaving the lift, the state of the snow at the summit and the weather moving over the ridge. Mornings are often the best time to judge conditions, before the slopes become busy.
Winters in the Apennines are cold, with snow most reliable from December into March, and conditions can change quickly with wind and cloud at altitude. Dress in layers and check the forecast on this page before you travel. Nearby cameras in the region, including Acquasanta Terme and Pretare, are useful for comparing conditions across the area.
