Tebing Brebsi

This live stream looks out over Tebing Breksi, a limestone cliff area in Sleman, Central Java. It is useful for checking conditions before a trip or simply watching how light and cloud move over the rock face through the day.
Tebing Breksi lies in the Sleman district, a short drive east of Yogyakarta. The site is a former limestone quarry whose sheer grey walls have become a well-known landscape in Central Java. Its rock faces sit on a low plateau in a region shaped by volcanic soils and ancient carbonate deposits, which gives the area a rugged, sculpted character quite unlike the surrounding rice fields and villages.
The camera is titled after the cliff itself, so the view centres on the limestone walls and the open ground around them. Depending on the angle, you may see visitors on the paths, changing cloud over the ridges, and the way morning and late afternoon light brings out the texture of the stone. Midday often brings harsh shadows, while the hours near sunrise and sunset are generally the most rewarding to watch.
Yogyakarta has a tropical climate with a wet season from roughly November to March and a drier period from May to September, which tends to suit outdoor visits. Temperatures are warm year round. The cliffs are about a short drive from the city, and the nearby cameras at Candi Boko, Candi Ijo, ViewBreksi and Simpang Prambanan show other parts of the same landscape.
