This live stream shows Kassos, a small Greek island in the southeastern Aegean. Watch the harbour and seafront conditions as they change through the day, and check the local weather before planning a crossing.
Kassos is one of the smaller inhabited islands of the Dodecanese, lying south of Karpathos and reached mostly by ferry. Its landscape is dry and rocky, with terraced slopes, whitewashed houses and a strong seafaring tradition. The island is quiet and largely unhurried, which is much of its appeal for visitors who want the Aegean without crowds.
The title refers to the island itself, so the view is best understood as a general look at local conditions rather than a fixed landmark. Depending on the angle, you may see the sea, the coastline and passing boats. Mornings often bring calmer water, while afternoon winds from the north can make the sea choppy, especially in summer.
Kassos has hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters, with plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The best time to visit is late spring or early autumn, when temperatures are comfortable and ferry schedules are more reliable. Nearby, Karpathos is the main connection, and the other cameras listed on this page cover islands across the southern Aegean.
