About Tinos Town
Tinos Town sits on the northwest coast of Tinos, an island in the South Aegean known for its whitewashed villages, dovecotes and the pilgrimage church of Panagia Evangelistria. The town grew around its port and has a traditional Cycladic layout of narrow lanes, marble details and blue-shuttered houses. The island is a major religious destination, especially around the feast of the Annunciation on 25 March, when many visitors arrive.
