ΟΛΥΜΠΟΣ ΣΤΕΦΑΝΙ
🇬🇷 Central Macedonia · Greece — Altitude 2648 m
This live camera looks out over Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece and the mythical home of the gods. Watch the stream to check how the peak looks right now, whether clouds are gathering over the summit, and what conditions are like at altitude.
Mount Olympus rises in the Pieria range on the border of Central Macedonia and Thessaly, close to the Aegean coast. Its summit, Mytikas, reaches roughly 2,900 metres, and the massif is known for its deep gorges, alpine meadows and rich plant life. The national park that covers it is one of the oldest in Greece. The station here sits at about 2,650 metres, so the view is shaped by high-altitude terrain rather than by towns.
Because this is a mountain camera, the picture depends mostly on weather and light. Clear mornings often give the sharpest view of the rock faces, while afternoon cloud build-up is common in summer and can hide the summit quickly. Late in the day, low sun can bring out the relief of the slopes. Snow may cover the upper ground for much of the winter and spring, changing the scene completely.
Summers are warm in the lowlands but cool and windy on the heights, so check the forecast on this page before planning a hike. The best hiking season runs from roughly June to September. The nearby Olympus Anatolika camera and the Kissavos Cave camera offer other views of the region, and the Veria municipality camera is about fifty kilometres away.

The camera is in Central Macedonia in northern Greece, at roughly 2,650 metres altitude. The map on this page shows its exact position relative to the mountain massif.
Mornings usually offer the clearest view before clouds build up, especially in summer. Winter and spring can bring snow that transforms the peak, so those seasons are worth watching too.
