Les Gets - Télésiège du Ranfoilly
🇫🇷 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes · France — Altitude 1400 m
This live stream follows the Télésiège du Ranfoilly, a chairlift serving the ski area above the village of Les Gets in the French Alps. It is useful for judging how the slopes look before you travel or head up on the lifts. The page adds local time and a three-day forecast so you can plan around the conditions.
Les Gets is a village in the Haute-Savoie department, set at roughly 1,400 metres in the Chablais area of the Portes du Soleil. It is known as a family-friendly resort with a traditional wooden-chalet centre and a mountain setting that opens onto wide views toward Mont Blanc on clear days. In winter the village is busy with skiers, and in summer its trails attract walkers and mountain bikers.
The camera is aimed at a chairlift, so the most useful views are the lift line, the piste below and the snow surface. Judging by its title it covers the ski area rather than the village roofs. Mornings often bring the clearest air and the firmest snow, while afternoons can show changing cloud and softening conditions. Visibility depends on weather, so fog or snowfall may limit what you see.
Les Gets has a cool alpine climate, with snowy winters that generally run from December to April and warm, green summers. Winter weekends and school holidays are the busiest times on the lifts. The nearby Plateau de Chavannes camera, about one kilometre away, offers a second view of the area, and the Nancy-sur-Cluses and Mont-Saxonnex cameras cover other points in the valley.
